2002 FIFA World Cup Lead Artist at Intelligent Games in charge of Star Player Heads. Shown here are most of the heads I made for this title. (Many of the haircuts for these players were done by another artist). Originally, we started hand painting the textures for the faces. This soon proved to be too laborious and simply not good enough to get to the level of quality that we were aiming for. I then devised a method of using photos in the texture maps without altering the existing UVW-mapping.
