Bujinkan Taikai
A Bujinkan Taikai(Big Gathering) is an event where around 300 people get together to train under the tutelage of Soke. I suggest going to Japan to train because of the chance to learn from the Japanese shihan. However, some people do not have the time nor the money to visit Japan. A Taikai can give you a chance to experience training with Soke. Maybe a Taikai will even motivate you to go to Japan after all! A Taikai also has some more advantages. There are lots of people to learn from as many high ranking non-Japanese instructors attend Taikai. Soke is motivated to give you three days of intensive training. Last but not least, you have a chance to meet many like-minded people during and after training. Remember that if you are training in Bujinkan it is a MUST to see Hatsumi-sensei in person. In visiting a Taikai you somehow sponsor the Bujinkan and improve your training. Please visit one!
